![]() What do Newtown CT and Chenpeng, China, have in common? On the same day, just hours apart, two men with murderous intentions entered schools in these two towns and went on a rampage. Both men attacked schoolchildren and adults. The man in China was wielding a knife, whereas the man in Newtown used a rifle like the one pictured here. In the Chinese incident, 23 people were injured but nobody was killed. As you know, the Newtown incident resulted in 28 deaths. Nobody is saying that control of semiautomatic weapons will end violence, but it will certainly limit the carnage caused by those with violent impulses. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/9744671/Knife-wielding-man-goes-on-rampage-in-Chinese-school.html
